Houston, TX, December 2009: Axxiom Manufacturing, Inc. filed a Federal lawsuit in Houston, Texas alleging that Forecast Sales uses deceptive business practices and has infringed Axxiom copyrights in connection Forecast products sold in Texas and throughout the United States. The lawsuit alleges that Forecast uses identical Axxiom part numbers on its Pirate products, and has copied the artwork, look and feel of Axxiom printed materials in an attempt to deceive consumers and cause confusion in the marketplace as to the actual source of abrasive blasting equipment. It further alleges that consumers have ordered products or parts using Forecast look-alike sales materials with Axxiom part numbers thinking they were buying genuine Axxiom products, but instead were delivered Forecast products with no indication that the parts delivered were not genuine Axxiom products.
